Using Public Comfort Rooms
When you are on a trip, it cannot be avoided that you have to use public comfort rooms to urinate and relieve yourself. Since you actually do not have any other choice but to utilise these public restrooms, all you can do is to be extra careful so as not to contract infections that could be transmitted by using the public lavatory. Since there is a risk in contracting microbes and other viruses that could infect your reproductive system, you should take note of the following tips when you have to use public restrooms.
Firstly, you should check the lavatory for toilet paper. If the cubicle that you have chosen does not have one, move on to the next. Better yet, bring your own tissue or roll of toilet paper so that you can have something to use in cases where the restroom runs out of supplies. The next thing that you should always take note of is never to sit directly on the surface of the toilet. Remember, there were other people who came before you to use the toilet and apparently, the toilet is already full of viruses and bacteria that came from those people. What if the person that used the toilet before you actually has a sexually transmitted disease that could be spread with skin contact? Most likely, the risk of getting the infection will be positive on your side. Instead of sitting on the toilet seat, you can actually cover the toilet seat with tissue paper, should you decide to sit on it. It is up to you how thick you want the seat to be covered. Just make sure that the toilet seat is fully covered before you use it.
Health is wealth, as they say. You cannot afford to just put your reproductive health to risk simply because you do not practice hygienic methods while using public restrooms. Act now and change your public restroom habit now!
